In 2019 Alienware participated in rAge, South Africa’s biggest annual video gaming, computer, technology and geek culture exhibition. Over the course of
the weekend tens of thousands of enthusiastic fans descend on the venue for three days of gaming, technology, gadgets, and geek lifestyle entertainment.
In addition to designing and executing the stand and relevant marketing collateral, Old Shanghai were tasked with conceptualising and implementing an
activation that would leverage Alienware’s association with Bravado, South Africa’s premier gaming organisation.
The activation gave 500 fans the chance to meet and greet their favourite Bravado players, who signed autographs, shared gaming secrets, and posed for
pictures.
While fans waited for their turn to meet the team, they were handed an Alienware branded lucky packet, which included tokens and other delight items.
10 lucky fans won a once in a lifetime VIP experience at the Alienware sponsored Bravado Gaming Bunker in Rivonia.
